How to introduce computing in the classroom in a playful and creative way?
Hello Ruby is working on a computing curriculum for K-5 educators. The project will offer high-quality professional development opportunities for educators through a series of videos and online materials.
The 10 short lessons will give educators a practical understanding of how to include computers, technology and coding to everyday learning situations or curriculum. The package also includes a printable student passport, worksheets and teacher reflection journal. All for free!
Educators will develop self-efficacy towards computing and learn to see themselves as professionals in computer science education.
Educators will learn to analyze concepts around computational thinking, hardware, networks and AI and describe how they relate to everyday life.
Educators will learn to prototype experiences around computing education and start to plan their own lesson plans.
The project is launching in the beginning of September. If you want to be notified, sign up to our newsletter! or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
